We are building more than a tutoring service

Learntit was built around a belief that strong academic results should come from genuine understanding, better thinking, and long-term structure, not just short bursts of revision before an exam.

Our goal is to help students become more capable, disciplined, and academically confident over time. That means building stronger habits, sharper problem-solving, and the kind of learning foundation that supports success at school, sixth form, university, and beyond.

We are especially focused on students who want to aim higher, whether that means top grades, stronger performance across Maths and Science, or preparing for the kind of academic challenge associated with the UK’s most competitive universities.

As Learntit grows, the vision is to build a wider team of excellent tutors who share the same standards, structure, and long-term philosophy, so the quality of the learning experience remains strong as the academy expands.

Learntit was created by two tutors who have seen first-hand what separates students who simply get by from those who go on to perform at the highest level.

Science Tutor

I have a Biology degree from a Russell Group university and a PGCE, along with around 4 years of school teaching experience and over 8 years of tutoring experience across KS3, GCSE and A-Level, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Over time, my teaching has become about more than just covering content for exams. My focus is on helping students understand the subject properly, apply their knowledge with confidence, and perform consistently under exam conditions. That includes the mathematical and analytical elements of Science that students often find the most challenging.

Having worked both in schools and in private tuition, I’ve seen the difference that structure, high expectations, and the right learning environment can make. My aim is to help students build strong subject understanding while developing the confidence and discipline needed to succeed at higher levels.

Maths Tutor

I’m a dedicated Maths tutor with over 4 years of experience teaching students across KS2, KS3, GCSE, and A-Level. In the last 2 years alone, I’ve delivered over 1200 hours of tutoring across tuition centres, agencies, and private sessions.

Over time, my teaching has become about far more than helping students get through the next test. My aim is to help them perform at the highest level they are capable of, by improving how they think, how they approach challenge, and how they build confidence in the subject over time.

I’ve worked with private school students and seen the difference that strong structure, high expectations, and the right environment can make. I’ve also supported students with National Maths Challenge style preparation, helping push them towards stronger mathematical thinking and higher-level problem solving beyond the standard curriculum.
